Kirsten graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001 and completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2006. She was the team physiotherapist for NSW Men’s Hockey and the NSW Institute of Sports (NSWIS) Men’s Hockey team from 2001- 2003. Kirsten also travelled with Softball Australia to the World Cup in Canada in 2005.

Kirsten has a special interest in backs and necks and has very effective treatment results. She has covered the Level 1 Watson Headache Approach, a gentle effective approach that is research back in providing results. Kirsten was a scholarship holder at the Australian Institute of Sport for gymnastics and also has a great understanding of an athletes spine.

Another area of specialty that Kirsten works in is Women's Health and Pelvic floor dysfunction. She has attended numerous post-graduate professional development courses in this area including treatment for pre and post-natal women for conditions such as but not limited to; pregnancy-related back pain, symphysis pubic dsyfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, stress and urge urinary incontinence, urgency, constipation, as well as dyspareunia(vaginismus) and pelvic girdle pain. Kirsten uses therapeutic ultrasound in treating mastitis or blocked milk ducts.
